Co-Curricular

St Edmund’s is known for its students’ strong characters and integrity, traits shaped by the core values of the College - what it means to be an “Eddies Man”.

These values provide the framework, but it’s through their practice that students build true character, meeting every challenge and pushing for success against adversity, competition and even the forces of nature.

A key aspect of the St Edmund’s experience is the extensive selection of co-curricular activities available to students. These opportunities are designed to inspire and develop each student as they progress through their journey at Eddies, encouraging them to engage in a variety of activities that extend beyond classroom academics.

Participation in the diverse co-curricular programs exposes students to a broad range of experiences, allowing them to connect with the wider College community. The offerings in arts, sports, and clubs accommodate different interests and skill levels, from casual involvement to high-level competition and elite aspirations.

St Edmund’s fosters a student-centered approach, encouraging each student to take responsibility for their chosen co-curricular activities, promoting personal development and a growth mindset. This approach also underscores the connection between co-curricular engagement and academic success, cultivating a sense of belonging and pride within the College community.

In the spirit of reconciliation, St Edmund’s College acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
